Cooking Matters has been empowering caregivers with essential food skills to end hunger at home since 1993. Having changed the lives of more than 530,000 families (and counting) across the country we want to be sure our brand continues to grow just like the kids we support.
Cooking Matters is more than just courses and grocery store tours. We are a trusted leader in nutrition education, offering free digital education tools, conducting research, supporting partners that reach families in need, and developing innovative solutions to help make healthy and affordable meals more achievable. We also advocate for families legislatively at the community, state and local level. We wanted to be sure our new logo reflected this expanded work. And so, we present you with “the produce”…"

Our programs help parents and caregivers struggling with limited food budgets learn how to shop for and cook healthy, affordable meals. Cooking Matters is a campaign of Share Our Strength, an organization working to end hunger and poverty.
What does this brand change mean to me?
Cooking Matters still delivers the same programs and resources. We provide direct education to parents and caregivers of kids ages 0-5, increase awareness and advocacy of childhood hunger issues, and partner with organizations throughout the state to influence larger policies, food systems and environments to make the healthy choice the easy choice. What is the timeline?
Our brand refresh launched on April 30, 2018. You may continue to see residual materials with our previous logo as we transition our materials over the next few months.
